How does the Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating program work?
Are your meals Diabetic/Heart/Sodium/Renal condition friendly?
How are you different than your competitors such as HelloFresh or Blue Apron?
We are much different, and better! With our program, there is no planning, shopping, or cooking! As our founder likes to point out, “We don’t even mess up your kitchen.” Plus every meal is calorie-and-portion controlled by a registered dietitian and prepared by a trained chef. Simply reheat and enjoy!
Why should I order 21 meals per week? (7 breakfasts, 7 lunches and 7 dinners)?
If you're interested in weight loss or healthy eating, let us do all the work for you! You will feel less frustrated and have better results without planning, shopping and cooking. We do also offer smaller weekday or weekend meal set packages for those seeking meals for convenience.
Are there ordering and canceling deadlines?
How are SSHE home delivery fresh meals sent?
Our meals are freshly prepared, packaged in special air-tight containers, then placed in a shipping box with insulated material to maintain their quality and freshness. This process meets the highest standards of safety and quality. All meals are manufactured in our USDA facility.
How long will my Seattle Sutton's Healthy Eating meals remain fresh?
SSHE meals remain fresh 5 days from the day you receive them and should be consumed within that time period. Always keep your meals refrigerated at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit. While it may impact the freshness of our meals, should you need to, you can freeze meals that do not contain fresh fruit or vegetables (in particular lettuce or spinach salads).
What is the recommended reheating method?
Are SSHE meals okay if the film is domed (bubbled)?
Our airtight seal is in place to keep your meals fresh. Doming of the seal is normal and will not affect the quality, taste or freshness of your meals. Many times, the domed lid is simply caused by gas that is release from fresh vegetables and beans.
