Hello, dear readers. I’m so grateful for the chance to communicate with you directly. And I very much like your comments. More and more people are coming to this page every day—reading about healthy eating, weight loss, and the benefits of Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating.
My emotions are running particularly high this week because this is the 23rd anniversary of the founding of our company. As many of you know, we began in the fall of 1985, in the small village of Marseilles, Illinois, where my husband, Kelly, was the town doctor and I was his nurse.
Our mission was (and is) to help people learn to eat as nature intended—healthy foods in the right portions. Do this and the aforementioned benefits abound. Weight loss the Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating way is natural and lasting.
Happy Anniversary to all those who have helped build and maintain our wonderful company—Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating, indeed.

One of the meals on our very first menu which remains to this day is our fluffy egg noodles with meatballs. We have a lot of different ethnic meals and this is our German noodle dish. We adapted it from one of my dad’s favorite’s—kase knepfla (cheese noodles)—that my mother loved to prepare.
Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating provides a healthier version of kase knepfla. Our noodles are topped with peas and pimentos. The seasoned meatballs are served in a blended cheese sauce. I’m sure my Dad would love our egg noodles and meatballs. I know I do, and it’s one of Kelly’s favorites.

In our beginning, 23 years ago, the founders of Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating sat down to choose the original menus, knowing our choices were unlimited, really, because any meal can be served in a healthy, tasty version by cutting down on fat (cholesterol), sodium, harmful additives, and other unhealthy elements.
One of our skills—which we have nurtured and developed since 1985—is to convert a meal by replacing unhealthy ingredients with healthy ones. That’s why we can serve freshly prepared versions of popular, traditional meals. People eating our meals can enjoy pizza, chili—you name it.
If you like it…it’s probably on our menu. BTW, we’re the only ones in the world doing what we’re doing.

From Kevin Kuschel of Missouri: “Seattle, I wanted to let you know how much your program as affected me. I am physically disabled and I use a wheelchair full-time. My weight has always been a hard thing for me to control, and I was living off fast food before I found your program. I needed a sense of direction, and your program was just what I needed.
“I have been on it for about 5 months now, and I estimate that I have lost about 30 pounds. I can’t accurately weigh myself, but I think that’s what I have lost.
"Unfortunately, I have cheated from time-to-time, but your program has given me the tool that I need for continued success.”
She made healthy eating her mission in life long before anyone else did, in hopes of helping her own obese father. A registered nurse by training and entrepreneur at heart, she lives, eats and breathes everything about healthy eating and helping to improve people’s eating habits and overall health. She enjoys never having to bother with grocery shopping, cooking and counting calories. Her favorite SSHE meal, although it’s hard to pick just one, is the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto Sauce.
