As a woman in my mid-80’s I try to do all the right things to continue on a path of good health. I eat right (check – thanks to Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating), I stay mentally active (also, thanks to Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating), and I stay physically active. I also receive preventative care check ups, as recommended. Those four things are big components in keeping one’s health in check.
On a recent preventative visit to my internist, I was delivered my results of standard lab tests that are taken to measure one’s health. I was not too terribly surprised by my numbers, since I have stayed pretty much the same for years and always been in great health. I am happy to report that I am proof that eating right does the body right! I wanted to show you exactly how well with my latest fasting blood sugar results. My glucose was a 96, which is great! The ideal range is from 74-106 and I am right in there!
It's interesting to note that I shared my test results in my 2004 book entitled, "The Seattle Sutton Solution." My glucose (blood sugar) was 85 then and now it's 96. Consistent and steady is ideal.
If you too eat right and make health a priority in your life –please send us a comment here, on our Facebook or Twitter. I’d love to hear from you about your #healthyeating story and health results.
I hope my results inspire just one person to make a change in their lifestyle. And, if you think you're too old to make a change - think again! It's never too late to make your health a priority.
