This year is an important year for us, because we officially celebrate 30 years of helping people improve their eating habits and overall health. I cannot believe it has been 30 years! It only seems like yesterday when I set out on this adventure.
If you have followed this blog or read anything about me, then you know my story by now. I started this company in hopes of helping people like patients from my husband’s medical practice. I knew if I did it, it had to be the healthiest meals possible. As a registered nurse, I am keenly aware of the importance of a balanced diet. I saw first hand as my own father was obese and suffered many diseases as a result.
As a way to thank our loyal customers, employees of past and present, community where we work and live, as well as our business associates, we are opening our doors in our Ottawa, Ill. production facility to host our 30th anniversary open house celebration.
It will take place next Wednesday, August 26th, so mark your calendars! We will kick things off at 11 AM, when I address the group with opening remarks. Guests will then have the privilege of listening to some wonderful music performed by a local artist, then come in for a chance to win some prizes. Following a spin on our prize wheel, attendees will be whisk off on a tour by one of my family members or employees, who will be in attendance for the day’s celebrations! Once the tour is complete then guests will have a delicious Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating meal to take with them and enjoy for lunch back at their office.
Please stop by, we are located at: 611 E. Stevenson Road, Ottawa, IL 61350. We’ll be there celebrating from 11 AM to 1 PM.
She made healthy eating her mission in life long before anyone else did, in hopes of helping her own obese father. A registered nurse by training and entrepreneur at heart, she lives, eats and breathes everything about healthy eating and helping to improve people’s eating habits and overall health. She enjoys never having to bother with grocery shopping, cooking and counting calories. Her favorite SSHE meal, although it’s hard to pick just one, is the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto Sauce.
