Oh, I’m heading to Kansas City this week. Kelly will hold down the home fort. As long as it doesn’t interfere with golf and poker. When you’ve lived in the same house as long as we have, everything is fine tuned the way we like it. I prefer to be a home body, but duty calls.

My trip to Kansas City will be most exciting. Two of my granddaughters are coming with me! Erin Borgstrom and Anna Egofske are working for Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating! I have long wished for this day to arrive. My goal is to have all of my grandchildren somehow involved with the company. I’m sure you understand.

I’m traveling to Kansas City to work with Sue Herrin and Darryl Vennard. They are opening a new Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating franchise for western Missouri and all of Kansas. How exciting! What wonderful people! I’m also glad to be working with their partner, Kevin Hodge, and his Fab Five distributors. That’s Kevin, Todd Krueger, Bob Beeks, Andy Hagen, and Joel Buchmann.
More distributors will be added as qualified individuals are chosen, but these five—friends for years—have been called “exceptionally gifted” by Darryl Vennard. They are the first to be selected.
Sue and Darryl begin operations this week. Did you know that this wife-husband team sold more than $50 million of fine wine in the St. Louis area?
You can purchase meals by calling 1.800.442.3438. Or go to www.seattlesutton.com. In both cases, put in your zip code, and follow the directions.
I’ve gotten to know Sue and Darryl quite well during the last few years and—believe me they’re going to bring healthy eating to Kansas City in a major way. I’m so glad for people in their area that want to eat healthy and enjoy the weight loss and health benefits of Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating.

Wonderful salads—ideal for summer—on the Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating menu:
Spinach Salad. Fresh leafy spring salad with a chilled vegetable sipper (with added spices) and an all-natural flat-bread Sesame cracker. Really good!
And here’s the other: fresh Caesar salad with hearts of tender romaine, Caesar dressing, and shredded cheese. Served with a zucchini muffin and almonds.
Both salads hit the spot as a summer lunch. And the taste. Umm, umm, good. Now that’s what I call healthy eating!

Here’s a testimonial (shortened for publication) from Lynette Edlund from Park Ridge, Illinois.
“Finally! At long last a diet that works. After a life threatening illness in December, 2004, I knew I had to make serious changes to my diet. My weight was a contributing factor to my overall condition, which was spiraling downward.
“Laying in the hospital watching untold hours of TV, I saw many Seattle Sutton commercials. After speaking with the hospital dietician and doing online research, I decided to give it a try. My husband said he would join me. He has been on the 2,000 calorie diet and has his weight at an optimal level for him as well as bringing his cholesterol levels to normal.
“I have been on the 1,200 calorie diet and to date have lost 186 pounds. My medications have been reduced, my blood levels are normal, I have been taken off my anti-hypertensives completely, my cardiologist has turned my care back over to my internist.
“I haven’t felt this good in years. I know on this diet I will meet my goal and will lose the last 123 pounds to bring my weight down to what it was when we married 36 years ago. The food is delicious and convenient.
“Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating, I sing your praises.”
She made healthy eating her mission in life long before anyone else did, in hopes of helping her own obese father. A registered nurse by training and entrepreneur at heart, she lives, eats and breathes everything about healthy eating and helping to improve people’s eating habits and overall health. She enjoys never having to bother with grocery shopping, cooking and counting calories. Her favorite SSHE meal, although it’s hard to pick just one, is the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto Sauce.
