KC's Fab Five

   Oh, I’m heading to Kansas City this week.  Kelly will hold down the home fort.  As long as it doesn’t interfere with golf and poker.  When you’ve lived in the same house as long as we have, everything is fine tuned the way we like it.  I prefer to be a home body, but duty calls.

   My trip to Kansas City will be most exciting.  Two of my granddaughters are coming with me!  Erin Borgstrom and Anna Egofske are working for Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating!  I have long wished for this day to arrive.  My goal is to have all of my grandchildren somehow involved with the company.  I’m sure you understand.

   I’m traveling to Kansas City to work with Sue Herrin and Darryl Vennard.  They are opening a new Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating franchise for western Missouri and all of Kansas.  How exciting!  What wonderful people!  I’m also glad to be working with their partner, Kevin Hodge, and his Fab Five distributors.  That’s Kevin, Todd Krueger, Bob Beeks, Andy Hagen, and Joel Buchmann.    

   More distributors will be added as qualified individuals are chosen, but these five—friends for years—have been called “exceptionally gifted” by Darryl Vennard.  They are the first to be selected.
    
   Sue and Darryl begin operations this week.  Did you know that this wife-husband team sold more than $50 million of fine wine in the St. Louis area?

   Wonderful salads—ideal for summer—on the Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating menu:

   Spinach Salad.  Fresh leafy spring salad with a chilled vegetable sipper (with added spices) and an all-natural flat-bread Sesame cracker.  Really good! 

   And here’s the other: fresh Caesar salad with hearts of tender romaine, Caesar dressing, and shredded cheese.  Served with a zucchini muffin and almonds.

   Both salads hit the spot as a summer lunch.  And the taste.  Umm, umm, good.  Now that’s what I call healthy eating!
