I can’t believe it, but it’s almost that time of year again! We’re only weeks away from Christmas and the New Year.
We’re looking forward to our kitchen facility closing for its annual holiday closure to allow our employees an opportunity to spend time with their families and celebrate the holidays. We do this each and every year. I know it’s a rare thing to do, but it’s the right thing to do.
With having our production facility close for two weeks, we realize many people rely on us for healthy meals. So, we’ve come up with a Holiday Special to help our clients to continue to eat healthfully while also enjoying the festivities of the season.
Our Holiday Special is comprised of one week’s breakfast, lunch and dinner (21 meals in all). You may order for one or two weeks, it’s entirely up to you! One special feature of our Holiday Special meals is that they can be frozen and in fact, we suggest that clients do so until they are consumed.
I can’t tell you how many times our Holiday Special meals have come in handy when extra people pop in during the holidays or you have an impromptu get together. It’s great to have a few extra healthy meals around for the unknown!

In case you missed it last week, there’s new research out that traces a child’s eating habits to the diet he had while in utero. It was very interesting and it seems to make perfect sense. Good or bad eating habits are formed very early. So, good nutrition is key for pregnant and nursing mothers for a child’s lifetime of good eating habits and good health.
She made healthy eating her mission in life long before anyone else did, in hopes of helping her own obese father. A registered nurse by training and entrepreneur at heart, she lives, eats and breathes everything about healthy eating and helping to improve people’s eating habits and overall health. She enjoys never having to bother with grocery shopping, cooking and counting calories. Her favorite SSHE meal, although it’s hard to pick just one, is the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto Sauce.
