First-ever Twitter Chat

Posted on 02/24/2014

We are so excited to announce our first-ever LIVE Twitter Chat!

Not familiar with what a Twitter Chat is?

A Twitter tweet chat is a pre-arranged chat/conversation that happens on Twitter through the use of Twitter updates (called tweets) that include a predefined hashtag to link those tweets together in a virtual conversation. All you need to participate is a Twitter account and to follow @SeattleSutton on Twitter and you’re set!

Rene Ficek, Seattle Sutton's staff registered dietitian will be leading the 60 minute Q&A session during the chat. Over the course of an hour, Rene and Twitter participants will be answering all your questions related to weight loss, nutrition and healthy eating. If you don’t have questions, just follow along the conversation and learn from others!

Event details:

  • When: Friday, February 28
  • Time: 12pm - 1pm CDT
  • Where: Twitter! Follow us @SeattleSutton to join the conversation
  • Twitter Chat hashtag: Be sure to follow and join the conversation using the hashtag #SSHEChat
  • What is a hashtag? On social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook, a word or phrase preceded by a hash or pound sign (#) and used to identify messages on a specific topic.

We’d love for you to join us for the chat! Be sure to follow us on Twitter  and “Like” us on  Facebook for additional updates. Please let us know in advance if you have any questions you’d like for us to answer during our Twitter chat.

Sharing is caring! Don’t forget to tell anyone who might be interested in participating.

For those of you who participate in our Twitter chat, you will also be entered into a giveaway!  One lucky participant of chat will be chosen...be sure not to miss out!

Seattle Sutton, BSN, RN

She made healthy eating her mission in life long before anyone else did, in hopes of helping her own obese father. A registered nurse by training and entrepreneur at heart, she lives, eats and breathes everything about healthy eating and helping to improve people’s eating habits and overall health. She enjoys never having to bother with grocery shopping, cooking and counting calories. Her favorite SSHE meal, although it’s hard to pick just one, is the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto Sauce.
