Favorite Meal

I thought it would be fun to hear from our Seattle Sutton's 2012 Slim Down Contestants and learn what SSHE meal they have most enjoyed to date. Now, they have not eaten our entire 5-week menu yet so this could change. But I thought you might like to hear what each one prefers...and, of course mine, although I think they are all my favorite! Maybe you share a favorite meal with a contestant or me.

Andrea E. -- "My absolute favorite has been the salmon with dill sauce. Salmon is the best food ever and when I go out to eat I always order it. The dill sauce made it taste lovely, so thank you for the meal..it was delicious!"

Bob B. -- "I really liked the BBQ!"

Bob H. -- "I really liked the stuffed shells!"

Chris D. -- "My favorite meal is the gnocchi! Love them all...it was hard to pick just one."

Heather T. -- "I have many favorites, but I think the one that still stands out so far is the stuffed green peppers!"

Janna T. -- "My favorite meal so far has been the signature pizza!  I ate it on a weekend evening when the rest of my family was having pizza (my favorite)."

Kim F. --  "I like the fish taco and egg casserole! Yum!"

Kristen M. -- "The fish taco meal has been my favorite so far. It was delicious!"

Ryan R. -- "I'll have to go with the mini turkey burgers! Very good!"

Sean M. -- "So far, I like the chili, the turkey sliders, the stuffed peppers and the chicken salad (especially with those crispy chips)! It's all been really good food and a variety that I would never have weekly at home...or ever really, so it's quite a treat!"

And, last but not least...my favorite SSHE meal is the gnocchi meal.  I love that meal! Although I really love them all and enjoy them each time they come around in rotation each 5 weeks. Our gnocchi is #1. I've tried it even while dining out in New York City and found ours to be superior to what is served in Italian restaurants. I think it is because of our delicious Parmesan sauce we make from scratch and that we season our gnocchi. Yum!

Slim Down Contest update...so far in just 3 weeks (21 days) our amazing contestants have lost a total of 194.5 pounds! Way to go...you all are doing so wonderful and we are so very proud of you. Only 12 more weeks to go.  Keep it up, you can do it!
