Diabetic Contest Results

Posted on 11/1/2011

Our 12-week diabetic contest has come to an end and I'm happy to announce the winner is Karen Dickens.

She's lost a total of 38 pounds and 15.4 percentage of her body weight! She did a great job and stayed the course the entire time.

Now she no longer is on her diabetes medications -- insulin and pills -- and her A1C is lowered from 8.9 before being on our meals to 5.7.

She's going to take the $1,000 winnings and put most of it to use to stay on our meals to continue with her weight loss and lifestyle change. Karen has also told her distributor, Amy Moore, that she will continue to weigh-in each Monday to stay accountable and on track!

Way to go, Karen. We're so very proud of you and what you've been able to accomplish in just 12 weeks. Please keep us posted on how you are doing and your journey.

She made healthy eating her mission in life long before anyone else did, in hopes of helping her own obese father. A registered nurse by training and entrepreneur at heart, she lives, eats and breathes everything about healthy eating and helping to improve people’s eating habits and overall health. She enjoys never having to bother with grocery shopping, cooking and counting calories. Her favorite SSHE meal, although it’s hard to pick just one, is the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto Sauce.
