I’m so excited to share with you that I’ll be on Dean Richards’ Sunday Morning Show on WGN Radio 720AM this coming Sunday, October 19th from 12:15 to 12:45 PM.
I’m a nearly 15-year breast cancer survivor and was recently on WGN-TV’s “Stories of Hope” breast cancer special. Emmy-Award winning WGN reporter, Dean Richards, hosted the special. It is set to air this coming weekend, Saturday, October 18th at 6 to 6:30 PM. It will also air on CLTV on Saturday, October 18th from 8 to 8:30 PM and Sunday, October 19th from 2 to 2:30 PM.
Dean suggested I should be on his radio program this month because of breast cancer awareness month, so this Sunday I will be!
Appearing along with me will be Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating registered dietitian, Rene Ficek, who will share tips on which foods to eat to help prevent breast cancer.
Please tune in and listen to us live this coming Sunday at 12:15.
She made healthy eating her mission in life long before anyone else did, in hopes of helping her own obese father. A registered nurse by training and entrepreneur at heart, she lives, eats and breathes everything about healthy eating and helping to improve people’s eating habits and overall health. She enjoys never having to bother with grocery shopping, cooking and counting calories. Her favorite SSHE meal, although it’s hard to pick just one, is the Potato Gnocchi with Basil Pesto Sauce.
