Corporate Lunches

For years, almost as many as I've been in business (nearly 26 just in case you are counting), I've received requests to supply meals for events. Of course I'd like to help these people, but that was not and is not our concept. We do all the work...the planning, shopping and cooking for the week, 21 meals in all.  We are not in the business of catering.

We are in the business of helping improve people's eating habits and overall health. My hope is that our clients learn about proper portions and what the right foods are to feed themselves for a lifetime of good health.

Times have changed and so too have businesses. Now employers are looking for ways to help improve employees' health. Obesity and diseases caused by it have never been higher. Healthcare costs are skyrocketing. Employers need to do more. They want to do more. And, we can help them!

Because of this change in corporations and organizations, we decided to take a leap into uncharted territory and branch out with our Corporate Lunches. But don't let the name fool you. The meals are not just for companies, rather they are for any group or meeting with a number of people gathering in one place on one day. Our minimum for orders is just 20.

Our meals provide a healthy choice for those seeking to eat healthy at an event. The components in the new meals are also served in one way or another in our "regular" meal plan that has 105 different meals in a 5-week menu cycle.

Our Corporate Lunches are for those in the Chicagoland areaat least at first. We are testing this here and if all goes as planned, we'll be rolling it out next year across the country. Stay tuned, I'll be sure to update you about this new program.

So, what's for lunch? You have your choice between a delicious vegetarian meal and a savory chicken meal:

  • Seattle's Signature Salad: Delectable tossed salad greens topped with our homemade dressing. Served with roasted red pepper hummus, petite vegetables and baked pita chips for dipping, along with a side of fresh fruit.
  • Chicken Salad Sandwich: A Seattle Sutton favorite! Delicious white meat chicken served on a multi-grain roll, accompanied by a fresh green salad topped, crunchy sweet potato chips and fresh fruit.

The new meals, as with all Seattle Suttton's Healthy Eating meals, are low fat, low saturated fat, low cholesterol, calorie and portion controlled and sodium restricted. They are also free of hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils/zero trans fat, artificial food dyes and high fructose corn syrup.

The price per meal is $10, plus tax and includes delivery and also utensils.  You can't feed your group any healthier for less. The best part is that there's no pick up to schedule or delivery person to tip...our meals are delivered right to your door too! We are also focused on the environment -- all the packaging is plant-based biodegradable compostable.

We went to great lengths to ensure what we are offering is in line with what we've come to be known ashealthy, freshly prepared, nutritious, delicious and what health and medical experts recommend one should eat. No fads, just like with our "regular" meal plan, just plain good food at a reasonable price.
