I'm thrilled to announce our Seattle Sutton’s 2013 Slim Down contestants lost a total of 485 pounds in 15 weeks and improved their overall health through losing weight. The 10 contestants not only lost weight, improved their health, but also the top three finishers won some amazing prizes in the process of this life changing journey. And, for the moment you all have been waiting for…

I’m incredibly proud of these 10 remarkable people who did so well -- 485 pounds in just 15 weeks. My hope is that through this life-changing journey, they now have healthy habits that will continue to help them throughout their lives and improve their quality of life. Their results are inspiring to those who need to lose weight and adopt a healthy lifestyle. I'm sure they will help a great many people in addition to helping themselves in the process of getting healthier.
Together the group also decided to do something charitable, they donated 340 pounds of clothing they could no longer wear due to their new, trimmer physiques. The clothing was donated to Peoria's Redmeemer Lutheran Church for their "Single Moms' Morning Out" event. What a lovely gesture!
Please join me in congratulating them -- way to go everyone for doing your very best!
