I want to update everyone on the Seattle Sutton’s 2010 Slim Down contest. As you may have read, we’ve selected our 10 finalists to compete beginning on January 4th for 14 weeks to lose weight and improve their health. They will be announced at the start of the contest.

The first snow of the season is always exciting and a little bit refreshing to me. I feel like a kid back in North Dakota when I see that white, fluffy stuff for the first time. I just love how it looks on the shrubs, so clean and beautiful.

My mission in life is to help people improve their eating habits and improve their health. If you’ve followed my blog for any amount of time, you may have read that before. I’ve been on this mission for most of my adult life and it has been the driving force of Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating for nearly 25 years (since the company’s inception).

My husband Kelly of 55 years recently went through quite an ordeal. He’s doing well now, getting better every day. But he gave us all quite a scare….I think he even gave himself a scare too!

There’s nothing more precious than your health. If you’ve read my book, followed my blog for any amount of time or saw one of my commercials on TV, I think you’ve probably heard me say that time and again. No house, car or material possession will take you further in life than good health.

There’s still time to enter the Seattle Sutton’s 2010 Slim Down contest. What is Seattle Sutton’s 2010 Slim Down? It’s the first of its kind weight loss contest by Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating Corporate. The contestant who loses the most weight wins the contest.

My husband Kelly and I had our eldest daughter, Paula and her husband JD in for a visit this past weekend. It was Paula’s 30th class reunion for Elmhurst College. She had a wonderful time seeing friends from college, some she hasn’t seen in 30 years.

Yesterday was an exciting day for Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating! We began the registration period for a weight loss contest called Seattle Sutton’s 2010 Slim Down for Illinois residents. We’re hoping to help people lose weight, improve their health and win some great prizes.
